Unfulfilled Messianic Prophecy Pt 2

There are numerous prophecies that have been partially fulfilled literally. It is logical, then, that the remainder of these prophecies will also be fulfilled literally. From the sample given, the following conclusions may be drawn:

1. There will be a time, having not yet occurred, when Israel will experience a time of intense trouble that will finally turn them back to their God.

2. During the time of trouble for Israel there will be a human kingdom like the Babylonian, Persian, Greek and Roman kingdoms that have already come and gone. This coming human kingdom will precede the Kingdom that God will set up over all the earth.

3. At the end of the coming human kingdom God will defeat all His enemies, following which His Son will rule over the world from Zion. At this time He will end war and bring peace.

4. At the time of the return of the Lord, all the world will turn to Him.

The use of an allegorical interpretation method that contradicts these conclusions in regards to future prophecy appears to be incorrect. The future literal Kingdom described by premillennialism must literally occur as prophesied in these and numerous other prophecies.

Based on the preceding, limited study, it is thus far apparent that a literal interpretation method is the correct method to use in study of the scriptures.
